 Festivities & Happenings

There are plenty of new attractions and events to be enjoyed this year. Take a look at some highlights of the upcoming things to do:

  • Math On-A-Stick: Food isn’t the only thing you’ll find on a stick at the fair. Grab your kids or your friends and go on a photo scavenger hunt as you explore the fairgrounds. And while you’re at it, share your photos (and the fun) with the #numbersatthefair hashtag on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
  • Mighty Midway Rides: Two new Mighty Midway rides are making their debut this year. Have a wacky good time in the New York New York Fun House or unleash your inner thrill-seeker on the Super Nova Roller Coaster.
  • Figure Skating Day: Spend an afternoon watching wintertime’s most glamorous sport as local figure skating clubs create a masterpiece on the ice. Then, join Olympic Gold Medalist Kristi Yamaguchi and National Figure Skater Rohene Ward for autographs and a fan Q&A Session.

There’s definitely something for everyone at the state fair, like competitions, special exhibits and even a giant sing along. Preview the full list of new festivities and happenings here.
