Winter Debauchery!

by Joe Kirkwood

It's been ten years now that I've lived in Minnesota, and I've never seen this much snow. And the cold? It's never been this cold! Warm weather can't come any faster than the fastest fast ball thrown by new Twin's recruit Phil Hughes. Speaking of the Twins...when will Spring be here?! I guess we have our good days and bad days but for me, this winter has been a real nightmare, one of the worst in a long time.

My point? It's hard enough living in this snowmageddon, freakish state known as Minnesnowta. If you're a renter, why not make it easy on yourself? Winters like this make it an easy decision for renters to choose to live in a private condo or luxury apartment. Think about it - having a heated, underground stall to park in and never having to deal with warming up your car or scraping the off the snow! It’s no wonder why MPLS RENT has been placing tenants in all of the amazing luxury apartments available in Minneapolis. It's called easy living. These buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art amenities and the renters we're placing in them are smart.

On another note, if you don't have the luxury of having a heated, underground stall - make sure you understand the snow emergency rules. I learned the hard way. Don't risk getting towed or ticketed. If you don’t know the snow emergency rules please educate yourself: http://www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us/snow/snow_winter-parking-restrictions

Fingers crossed it won’t be long and the days will be warm and we'll be basking in the sun... at a Twin’s game downtown Minneapolis or a happy hour on a patio at our favorite brewery in The North Loop.

April can't come soon enough. But then again, I believe it snowed in May of last year?!

So, if you’re interested in touring luxury apartments throughout fantastic Minneapolis and seeing all that they offer, don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to show you around. Schedule a tour today.

Stay warm,

Joe
